Mirror mirror on the wall

A thin line between the two

Saw all her scars and felt blue

The one on the other side

Seemed to be full of spite

Never hid anything

Bared all her shortcomings

She thought, “How brutal can a mirror be?”

With a broken heart, she believed

Then thought truth is bitter, sure

But your scars you must nurture

For they are a symbol of your gallantry

For they are a proof of your bravery

Tenaciously stood like a soldier

In front of the bright shining armor

Absorbed all the truth

Told herself, “you only get one youth”
